Custom made made foldable carton boxes are one of the most common boxes people use for astounding variety of packaging purposes: cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, confectionery, presents. Despite being a much cheaper option than premium rigid boxes, regular carton boxes can have a premium look using many post print techniques like 3D foil, raised UV print, cut out windows, hot foil stamping, fancy cartons and many others. Production process is fully automated and minimum quantities start at few thousand pieces per order.

FLEXPRO - A NEW APPROACH TO PRINTING

Flexpro's new wide format UV printing machines have five indisputable advantages:
- 5 times less energy consumption than using old printing machines. Eco-friendly inks, less electronic waste.
- 1.5 times increased printing speed. Our new printing machines work on a completely different principle - the print is applied by a moving head, and the ink is dried extremely quickly by LED lamps.
- Brighter printing. The new devices allow to ensure exceptional quality - the size of the print point is 7 times smaller compared to the previous devices.
- Larger formats. If previously the largest possible format was 165x320 cm planes, now we can offer up to 254x400 cm size.
- Universality. If before we could only print on cut sheets of material, now we can also use rolls of material.

DOUBLE-LAYER TEAR-OFF LABELS

It is not uncommon to face the dilemma of how to fit all mandatory labeling information (multilingual versions, product composition, symbols, etc.) on the product when the packaging area is so limited.

There IS a solution, it is VERIFIED and TESTED in practice. These are self-adhesive double-layer peel-off labels that have up to 3 times the surface area of conventional self-adhesive labels.

LUXURY DRAWER BOXES

Premium drawer boxes are designed and produced for presentation purposes, book, catalogue or bottle packaging and everywhere when standard base or magnet closure and lid is not an option. Drawer boxes are manufactured from grey board and lined with desired printed or art paper. Finishing options include various print techniques, spot UV, hot foiling, lamination, pull out ribbons, cut out thumbnails.

PAKMARK HAS IMPLEMENTED THE STANDARD - BRCGS

PakMark has implemented the standard - BRCGS Packaging materials - for packaging manufacturers supplying products that can come into direct contact with food since 2017. This year they have been awarded the highest standard level AA.
This is an exceptionally high number of requirements: for the environment, facilities, order, cleanliness, hygiene and behavior of employees, competence, selection of raw material suppliers and the like, having a certificate.

Foam inlays and fitments are essential components in the packaging solutions when it comes to safe placement of fragile products like bottles, glasses, candles, medical equipment etc. Unlike many other manufacturers, at Via Aquaria we have all foam converting equipment in house being able to come with quick and functional solution for different foam insert options. In addition to standard EVA foam or LD foam in different thicknesses, we encourage our customers to use fully recycled foam made from used mattresses. Our foam Converting techniques include foam slicing in needed thickness, die cutting, laser cutting, CNC milling and engraving, suede lining, paper lining.

BALTIC PRINTING & SERVICES CLUSTER HAS JOINED THE CLIMATE CALCULATION ORGANIZATION

ClimateCalc is a tool for calculating the carbon footprint of both the printing company and a specific print job. This means that the graphic company itself is able to compile a carbon account for the entire company, all its activities and all the printed matter produced by the company.

ClimateCalc can be used as the key carbon management tool for the company. The carbon account shows both the essential effort areas and the carbon account for the previous years. This allows the company, in an easy and manageable way, to see and at the same time document that the specific aims are achieved.

ClimateCalc can simultaneously calculate different carbon footprints of a specific print job. This allows the company to advise customers on for example paper to reduce CO2 emissions. Moreover, the company can offer to carbon neutralize print jobs for the individual customer.
